The worship in Blandford and Langton caters for a range of diverse tastes and styles. From the beauty and solemnity of BCP Communion to the informal joy of the modern services, our aim is to provide an opportunity for everyone to find a place where they are able to meet with God.

9.30am in BFPC - A "Formal" Service

A service from either the Book of Common Prayer or Common Worship which is usually a Communion Service and robes will normally be worn. There will usually be traditional hymns sung. Our children and YP's work will happen jointly between the services at the Centre - and there will be refreshments after the service.

9.30am - Young People's Groups

The Young People from our various groups come for the first part of our services and then go off to the Centre or other locations for their time together.

9.30am In The Centre - An "Informal" Service

Led by a worship group, this will be a service using mainly modern songs and hymns, beginning with a time of sung worship, a sermon, prayer - and everything on the big screen. Once a month, there will be an All Age Service.

11.00am - Worship at Langton

Held at the village church of Langton Long, just outside of Blandford, this service is from either the Book of Common Prayer or Common Worship (aprt form an informal All Age Service on the fourth Sunday in the month). Robes are worn at most services.

Our Sunday Worship and the opportunity to be a welcoming community is important to us and we aim to meet 9.30am, at Blandford Parish Church and at The Centre with refreshments after all the services. Please join us - we look forward to meeting you !

A Service of BCP Holy Communion takes place each week in BFPC at 9.30am on Thursday mornings.
