A weekend away for the whole church family, staying in a beautiful mansion on top of a hill
in Somerset, surrounded by woods and fields ... sounds wonderful !
So What's The Place Like ... ?
The main house sleeps 70 people in a variety of rooms - but there is a quiet adults-only "annexe" with twin-bedded en-suite facilities ... so there is accommodation for everyone !
Inside, there is a large dining room and conference room, as well as a quiet lounge and coffee shop.
Outside, there is a play area, a games room and a swimming pool (we'll be there in July !)
So What Will We Do ... ?
We have invited Eric Delve (one of the best speakers around today) to lead our weekend and there will be several opportunities for thought-provoking and interesting sessions to encourage us all in our faith. There will be loads of time to get to know each other better, to simply chat over a cup of coffee or walk in the grounds.
But ... nobody has to do anything ! If you want to, you
can just simply come and enjoy the surroundings !
There are several options we can also make use of if we want to, such as
archery or using the high wire walk way on the site - but these involve
extra cost and we will only book them of sufficient people want to do them.
A team of people will be catering for us - literally, so the weekend is totally inclusive of food, speaker, children's work, swimming etc etc

The all-inclusive cost for the weekend is ...£ 60 for adults
£ 45 for 12 - 16 years
£ 30 for 4 - 11 years
Free for Under 4's
However, there are a couple of "options" ... If you would like to be in the quiet Annexe with en-suite facilities ... add £ 10 per person. If you are interested in archery or the high-wire course, please tick the box on the form and we will let you know the potential cost and availability.
