Blandford Forum Parish Church PCC [Parochial Church Council] consists of 12 parishioners, each serving usually for a period of 3 years. At each APCM [Annual Parochial Church Meeting] 4 members of the PCC stand down and are replaced by 4 new candidates or re-elected. Parish Clergy are ex-officio members of the PCC, as are 2 Deanery Synod members.

Parishioners who would like to be considered for the PCC must be on the church electoral roll, be over 16 years of age, and must have taken Holy Communion at least 3 times in the past year in the Church of England. Nominations for PCC have to be presented to the Parish Office at least 48 hours before the APCM. Nominations will not be accepted after this, except at the discretion of the Rector. The Proposer and Seconder must also be on the Electoral Roll.

The PCC meets monthly with the exception of August and December. Members are expected to make meetings a priority, and a record of attendance is kept.

Meetings start in prayer as the PCC seeks to determine God's will in Blandford Church. Discussions are wide-ranging and the agreed Minutes from recent meetings are available in the church lobby and below.
