Supporting the living costs of Mark Yemba Soro, a student in Nairobi

Jenny Galushka writes ... The Deanery has a project to support Mike Yemba, as part of our Diocesan link with Sudan generally and with Bishop Francis in particular. Attached is a leaflet describing our support for this student who is studying commerce at university in Nairobi. To enable him to switch from a two-term year to a three-term year (and therefore to graduate a year earlier than he otherwise would) we need to raise money at a faster rate than we have done hitherto, and in particular, we need to raise £1,500 by the beginning of May. (700 of that is already on its way, so 8oo remains to raise).

Could you be a regular donor with a standing order, or by accepting my Talents Challenge, which is based on the Parable of the Talents. I will give to any supporter who asks, the sum of £10, on the understanding that they will use it as seedcorn money to make a profit, and then give it back to me, together with the profit they have made.
