The East of England Singers at Beningborough

The East Of England Singers are the Chamber Choir of NCT Music (42 Members). They give an average of six concerts per season in addition to performances by the NCT Symphony Chorus, of which they form part, providing the semi-chorus for works which require one. Every other year they go away on a May weekend concert tour to a beautiful area of the UK.

Formed in 1985, this auditioned SATB choir has a busy concert schedule, performing works across the full choral range from Hildegard of Bingen to Richard Rodney Bennett. Recent performances have included Bach Magnificat, Monteverdi Vespers and John Tavener The World is Burning. All have received critical acclaim for their dynamism and beauty of sound. This season the choir will be giving a rare performance of the complete Bach Christmas Oratorio in the village setting of St Peter's Church, Ruddington.
