Ever wondered what life is all about? Trying to make sense of life itself? Wondering if there is such a thing or person as "God"? The Alpha Course is a way of exploring these questions and finding the answers out for ourselves. BFPC is running an Alpha Course during the Autumn of 2008 - come along and find out more!

The Alpha Course ...

So who should come on the course ... ?

  • Anyone who is interested in finding out more about the Christian faith ...
  • Anyone who is bringing a friend on the Course ...
  • Anyone who has never been on an Alpha Course before and would like a "refresher" on their faith ...

    Tuesday 16th September ... The Alpha Supper

    Come and find out more about the Alpha Course and join us for Supper on Tuesday 18th September at The Old House in The Close, Blandford Forum. There will be a chance to meet the people organising the Course and get a taste of what is to come - but without any obligation to come to the Course itself. Come and find out more!

    What Happens ... ?

    The evenings will begin at 7.45pm and involves a talk about one aspect of the Christian faith (either on a video or with a "live" speaker), enjoying a pudding (!) and discussing things in small groups. The evenings will end about 9.30.

    Where ... ?

    The evenings will take place at The Old House, The Close, Blandford Forum.

    How Much ... ?

    Nothing ! The Course is free - but you may like to contribute to the meal ... or the puddings !

    There are a number of free booklets available in the office which are there to provide more information for those who are interested in coming on the course or would like to invite someone to come along. Some leaflets will also be available in church.
