News Archive ...Blandford Youth Trust is based in the Blandford School and is directed by Ken Reynolds. A very large number of pupils are referred to Ken with a broad range of issues and his work is highly valued. Over the past financial year the church has tithed £1313 to Youth Work in Blandford as well as gifts of non perishable goods to Treads at Harvest time. We hope that Ken Reynolds will be coming to speak to us in the summer about his excellent work. The project's objectives include: Supporting students experiencing difficulties or facing exclusion; Providing a structured, school based, pupil support service; Providing support and training for school staff on substance misuse and dealing with substance-related incidents; Assisting with the delivery of aspects of the PSRE curriculum - Drugs education, Alcohol education, Relationships and sex education. |
