Messy Church @ The Centre

As a taster for a monthly after school service in the Centre, BFPC held a "Messy Church at 10.30am on a Sunday morning ...

With the theme of 'Love God!', the service aimed to encourage people to see God as a loving parent using the story in Luke 15:11-32: "The Parable of the two sons". There were activities at 10.30am including:

'Pigs in the pen'- biscuits, Green and Red food Colouring, Fondant icing and Matchmakers...

'Tears of God' - acetates talking about What makes God sad ...

'Cocktails' - Fruit juices, Lemonade, cherries, Little umbrellas ...

'Pigswill' - Jelly, Hard boiled eggs, Lump of cooked pasta, Bread roll ... And lots more ...

After some celebration Songs, we had a story (with a unique roving mike stand) and the 'Tear' Prayers before a final Song and a Blessing.

Then it was outside for some party nibbles ...
