The 2009 Christmas Meal

Blandford Forum Parish Church (BFPC) held a meal at Woodhouse Gardens on the Saturday before Christmas in order to give a full Christmas dinner to those in the town who might not be able to enjoy one.

Organised by members of the church, a turkey dinner was served to over a dozen people from the town and each was given a present to mark the occasion.



The Rector of Blandford Forum, Rev Tim Storey said "We all too easily forget that there are those on our own doorstep who will not be able to enjoy some of the special trimmings which we take for granted each Christmas. It was good to be able to make it possible for some in the town around us."
