The 2009 Christingle Service

Blandford Parish Church (BFPC) collected £110 for the Children's Society at the Christingle Service on Sunday 29th November.

Over 120 people came to the service, which included songs such as "Go Tell it on the mountain", "Joy To The World" and "Shine Jesus Shine", as well as some thoughts about the way that Christingle describes aspects of the Christian faith.



The Rector of Blandford Forum, Rev Tim Storey said "It was a wonderful evening when we set the scene for the Christmas celebrations to come, reminding ourselves of the need to keep the Light of the World, Jesus Christ, at the heart of all the celebrations."
