BFPC welcomed the new Bishop of Sherborne, Graham Kings, for his first visit for a confirmation service. With three candidates from Blandford Camp and one from Iwerne Minster, there were seventeen candidates in all, with five being baptised and confirmed, nine being confirmed and three reaffirming their baptismal vows. We heard some wonderful testimonies of growing and rediscovered faith and shared communion before the candidates left to wave sparklers outside the Church in celebration! And then it was off to the Corn Exchange for the obligatory bunfight ....
