Blandford Forum Parish Centre opened on 27th February 2010 after years of consultation and planning. It offers the community a purpose built meeting venue of the highest quality, equipped with the facilities and technology that is required for venues in the 21st Century. We would like you to consider using it for your meeting or event.

The Galilee Hall...

... can sit up to 100 people theatre style, and 72 around tables (a variety of table sizes for both children and adult activities are available). A large screen and projector provides the capability to play CD, Blu-ray DVDs, Sky television, or Computer presentations (computer available if required).

The Emmaus Room...

... is aimed at providing the feel of a board room and seats up to 20 people either around tables or theatre style. It is equipped with 42” TV which feeds from the Galilee Hall or by direct computer/DVD input.

The Bethany Lounge...

... is equipped with more informal furniture and a small kitchen, the Bethany Lounge aims at providing a relaxed environment, seating up to 20 people, offering the same TV facilities as the Emmaus Room.

Internet access via in-house WiFi.

Kitchen catering for up to 100 people.

Modern bathroom facilities.

Solar panel and deep source heat pump.

Why Use Blandford Parish Centre?

The Centre is a project that began many years ago with a vision to replace the old tin hut “Parish Rooms”, which stood on the site until 2009, with a state-of-the-art building that would be a resource for the town. Working towards a vision of building ... “A Place Where Church and Community Meet”, we believe that the Centre offers facilities that are second-to-none in Blandford Forum. In order to ensure that it is accessible for all parts of the community, the price of hiring the Centre has been fixed to meet the needs of different groups and it is our desire that the Centre is used by as many people as possible in the town.
